PingMyCar – Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview

At PingMyCar, we aim to provide high-quality products and a reliable vehicle alert service.

Due to the nature of our QR-based system and subscription service, refunds and cancellations are handled under the conditions outlined below.

2. Eligibility for Refund

A refund or replacement will only be offered if:

  • You receive the wrong sticker
  • The sticker is damaged on delivery
  • The sticker is defective or not working as intended

You must contact us within 7 days of delivery to report the issue.

3. Reporting an Issue

To request a refund or replacement, please:

  • Your name
  • Order details
  • Description of the issue
  • Photo evidence (if applicable)

4. Resolution

If your request is approved, PingMyCar will:

  • Provide a replacement sticker
  • Issue a refund where appropriate

5. Non-Refundable Situations

We do NOT offer refunds for:

  • Change of mind
  • Incorrect details entered by the customer
  • Improper use of the product
  • Issues caused by external factors (network or device issues)
  • Services that have already been activated and used

6. Subscription Services

PingMyCar subscriptions are digital services.

  • They are non-refundable once activated
  • The service begins immediately after setup

7. App Store & Google Play Purchases

If PingMyCar offers subscriptions or digital purchases through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store:

  • Purchases made through Apple are subject to Apple's billing and refund policies.
  • Purchases made through Google Play are subject to Google's billing and refund policies.
  • PingMyCar cannot directly issue refunds for purchases processed by Apple or Google.
  • Users must request refunds through the platform where the purchase was made.

8. Cancellation of Service

Users may cancel their PingMyCar subscription at any time.

For subscriptions purchased through our website:

  • Future renewals will be cancelled.
  • No further charges will be taken after the current subscription period expires.

For subscriptions purchased through Apple App Store or Google Play:

  • Cancellation must be completed through the relevant app store account settings.
  • Deleting the application does not automatically cancel a subscription.

Where permitted by law, fees already paid for active subscription periods are non-refundable.

9. Final Decision

All refund and cancellation requests are subject to review.

PingMyCar reserves the right to make the final decision based on the information provided.

10. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Refund & Cancellation Policy affects your statutory rights under applicable UK consumer protection laws.

Where required by law, consumers may be entitled to additional remedies relating to faulty products, defective services, or incorrect goods supplied.
